Entelect Retail Manager is a self-managing online store that operates as a store front plug-in to Entelect Web Manager. It enjoys all the standard features required of online stores, which includes product display and browsing options, an integrated shopping cart, administration and order fulfilment tools. The real advantage of this system is that it enjoys all the additional benefits offered by Entelect Web Manager, making it a sophisticated online retail, marketing and customer management solution. All aspects of the products are managed through an easy to use back-office interface. These include product category maintenance, images, descriptions, attributes, prices, discounts, manufacturer data, availability, weight, dimensions and stock keeping units. Products can also be managed through spreadsheets that can be uploaded from, and downloaded to, the system back-office.
Special offers management
Retail Manager enables advanced pricing structures, discounts and cross-selling of products. Specials can be linked to specialised product views on the home page, while product price scaling features allow for discounts to be reflected on product categories, either as fixed fees or percentage based. Discounts for all products can also be set to be on offer for a specified period.
Look and feel ownership
We have a variety of templates to manage specific look and feel requirements of the store website, plus all content management features offered by Entelect Web Manager are available. Storefronts are set up on our clients own domains, while automated email and newsletter templates can also be configured by clients through the back-office interface.
Customer and subscriber management
Potential customers can register, manage and update their details as well as subscribe to special offer newsletters. Customers and subscribers form separate groupings that can be accessed and managed using all of Entelect Web Managers subscriber and membership management features. Google analytics can also be integrated into the solution to monitor browser usage statistics.
Order status management
Transactions can be analysed and action taken in the back-office, which includes attaching notes to, and updating order statuses. These range from payments received, to gathering inventory items, through to delivery.
Courier fee options
The system provides several courier cost options to suit most retailers' needs. These include fixed delivery fees up to a certain value, free delivery based on higher value purchases and volumetric courier delivery options.
Delivery type options
Besides direct delivery options to customers' physical addresses, specific classes of products can be set to be delivered to a customer's preferred physical stores or depots for pickup. Customers specify which pick-up point is closest to them on check-out. This is especially useful for distributors who, in certain instances, wish to push traffic to their physical retailers.
Voucher issuing and redemption
Entelect Retail Manager allows for the issuing of discount vouchers to individuals or groups of people. Vouchers are based on percentage discounts, with expiry dates, and can be redeemed online by typing in the voucher code.
Action and management reports
A variety of action and management reports exist to assist in tracking and managing order workflow. Report examples include products sold within a date range, stock keeping unit reports, inventory count reports, and order management reporting.
Card merchant facilities
Our clients can use Entelect's credit card merchant account, in which instance issue resolution is performed by Entelect. If required, the system can be integrated to other merchant facilities.
